As of 2022, PSA reports that there are 1,105,143 registered MSMEs in the country. According to a survey conducted by DTI e-Commerce Office on 400 MSMEs, only 10% of these MSMEs have advanced digital tools as part of their core business model while at least 56% of these businesses only employ basic tools such as Microsoft Office, email, and communication apps. These figures show that there is a need for digitalization services such as SaaS to upgrade the quality of business operations especially since the 2020 pandemic. Bayoa Analytics realized this and we started offering SaaS development services since there are few service providers like us in the Philippines.
